A Alice in Wonderland Mystery Meal is great for every age troop. As a Leader I am always coming up with some crazy exciting party for my girls. We have always had a Multi-level troop. So when planning parties I try to come up with a theme that everyone will enjoy no matter how young or old.

This whole post is about how to put on a Mystery Meal and have it be a Alice in Wonderland theme. If you have never done a mystery meal and want to have a blast with your girls make sure to plan one of these, you will not be disappointed. We came up with 12 different items and put it together into a menu.

Get your copy of the Alice in Wonderland Mystery Meal Program Here. It is a 3 course meal with 4 different items in each course. For example the main meal item is spaghetti and it is called DoDo Delight. For the Chesture Smile you can find a good recipe to use here

How to Run a Mystery Dinner

First print Mystery Dinner menu, one for each girl. At the beginning of the event have each girl fill out Menu, only writing down each item once, this will be a three course meal.

You will need help running the kitchen we had some great mom’s at our event and we had them in kitchen filling orders, if they want to participate have them fill out menus before having them go in kitchen, then after they serve all the girls they can fill their order as well.

Start with the first course, whatever the girls get during that course is what they get to eat or use. Meaning if they picked a fork and a knife, napkin, and a spoon all at once, then they wont be eating during first course. But that also means that during the course they have food coming they wont have anything to eat them with.

YES that is where the fun part comes in, after each course the girls must throw away everything they received during previous course. (Note you will go through more plates during this event, so make sure you have extras. We had small and large ones in case all they got were meat balls during a course)

We made an adjustment to rule of throwing away previous items, we allowed them to keep their drinks when they got them, since we didn’t want them to chug it or waste drinks. For the water, we purchased Tea Cup water bottles from Oriental Trading for the girls. We put their name on the bottom so they would be able to use during the whole event.

We also purchased fun coloring place mats, found them at a five below store, we put crayons on table so if girls got done eating or were waiting for their food they had something to do.

I hope you try a Mystery Meal with your girls, and if you do share with me how it goes, if you come up with your own, I would love to see it, send me a email and if you would allow I could post it on blog for others to use.
