A friendly animal block!
What you need:Β Pink tablecloth, larger box (body), square box (head), four small boxes (feet), white, black, and pink construction paper.
How to make:
Cover the body, head, and four small feet boxes with the pink tablecloth.
Use pink paper for the nose, and white/black paper for the eyes, maintaining a blocky look.
Tape the eyes and nose onto the head.
Tape the head and four feet onto the body. Bonus: Cut two small triangles from pink paper and tape them to the top of the head for ears!
The tall, teleporting friend!
What you need: Black tablecloth, large rectangular box (body), square box (head), pink and purple construction paper.
How to make:
Cover the body box completely with the black tablecloth.
Cover the head box with the black tablecloth.
Cut out the signature pink and purple glowing eyes from construction paper (remember to keep them square/rectangular).
Tape the eyes onto the head.
Tape the head onto the body. Tip: Tape a small box partially inside the top of the body box to act as a neck and help the head stand up straight.
Great for a spooky touch at Halloween!
What you need:Β White tablecloth, large box (body), eight narrow cardboard slices, black and white construction paper.
How to make:
Cover the large body box completely with the white tablecloth.
Cover the eight narrow cardboard slices (these will be the tentacles) with the white tablecloth.
Cut out the distressed, blocky eyes and mouth from black and white construction paper.
Tape the face onto the body.
Attach the eight cardboard strips to the bottom of the Ghast box to resemble tentacles.
This iconic mob is a must-have!
What you need: Green tablecloth, larger box (body), square box (head), two small boxes (feet), black construction paper.
How to make:
Cover the large body box completely with the green tablecloth, securing the edges with tape.
Repeat for the head and the two feet boxes.
Using a ruler and a Creeper image for reference, cut out the blocky face design from black construction paper.
Tape the facial features onto the head.
Tape the head and feet onto the body to complete your life-size Creeper!
Need a quick and fun activity to complement your Minecraft decor?
How to Play: Get a simple spinning wheel (you can purchase one or even make a quick one out of cardboard). Use Minecraft stickers or printed images to decorate the sections.
Prizes: Assign prizes for each section (e.g., "Diamond," "Gold Ingot," "Redstone"). Small candies, glow sticks, or craft supplies make great "loot."
Group Fun: This is a fantastic station for a Girl Scout party or a Halloween trunk or treat event where you need a quick activity that rotates kids efficiently.
Use a pre-made Minecraft scavenger hunt (like one with riddles and educational activities) to give kids a quest.
Enjoy every minute being a leader and continue to inspire your girls!
