It is that time of year where we are so busy shopping, baking and spending time with our families and friends that sometimes planning for holiday events for our troops can be stressful, but this post is full of ideas to make that planning a little easier on you and you can just enjoy spending time with your girls.

Caroling Fun Patch

Take your girls and their beautiful voices out around your community singing some jolly holiday tunes. If you have never done caroling with your troop before or need a song book, click here for a free printable and some very helpful tips to get you started caroling with your troop

Add the Caroling patch to the back of each girls’ vest after your caroling event.

Christmas Crafts Patch

This is the time of year there are so many ideas for crafts you could do with your girls. Last year a troop shared a cute time capsule ornament they made with their younger girls and it could not be opened until they turned 18. Beyond that idea, the sky is the limit on what you could do with your girls.

Grab yourself colorful paper, glue, glitter, and markers and make Christmas cards, or explore some of these great ideas on my Christmas Pinterest board.

Be sure to grab your Christmas Craft patch to remember the fun Christmas crafts you made this year!

Breakfast with Santa Fun Patch

I love having breakfast with Santa. Pretty much no matter where you look there is a local event with breakfast with Santa. This could be a fun activity to take your girls to just enjoy breakfast and a visit, or you could check with people having the event and see if they need some help serving or maybe the girls could do crafts to sell if the event has a craft sale as well.

Hanukkah Fun Patch

This is one of the cutest Hanukkah fun patches around. I wanted to share because I know many of my readers do not celebrate Christmas and celebrate Hanukkah instead so I want to make sure I have ideas for everyone. With that said I have no experience or ideas myself around this holiday so I gathered everything I could find and compiled it into one easy reference Pinterest board for you.

The celebration honors African heritage in African-American culture and is observed from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a feast and gift-giving. Gingerbread Fun Patch

Now who does’t love making gingerbread houses? I know my girls always did and my son has enjoyed it the last few years as well. There are endless kits at stores you could buy which has everything you need. But since we are all crunched on money why not just go to dollar store buy graham crackers, frosting, and a pile of different candies and make one from scratch. Your girls will have a blast I promise!

Remember your yummy creation by ordering your Gingerbread house patch!
