The crisp air and colorful leaves of fall bring so many opportunities for fun with your Girl Scout troop! While earning badges for the front of the vest is always a great goal, don't forget about the awesome fun patches that fill up the back. These patches commemorate special events, seasonal activities, and unique adventures.
Here are five great ideas for October fun patches and activities to go along with them, perfect for any Girl Scout troop.
Many Girl Scout councils have a fall product program, and it's a fantastic way for girls to earn money for their troop and learn about business skills. Kick off the season with a fun rally or meeting to get girls excited about the products and set some goals.
Activity Ideas:
Host a "Fall Product Kickoff" meeting. Make it a party! Have the girls work in small groups to come up with a team name, a slogan, and a jingle for the different products.
