Get out your black paint and paintbrush—this is where the fun begins! Paint the edges of the paper plate black to create the paper plate penguin’s dark back and wings. Don’t worry about painting the middle; leave that part white for the penguin’s belly. Let the paint dry completely before moving on to the next steps.
Create the Paper Plate Penguin’s Beak and Feet
On an orange sheet of construction paper, draw a small triangle for the beak and two oval-shaped feet. Cut them out carefully.

Attach the Flippers
Once the paint on the plate is dry, use glue to attach the flippers on each side.
