A simple way to introduce movement and rhythm is with a high-energy balloon dance challenge. This game gets kids moving while improving their coordination and balance.
What you need:
How to Play:
Give each girl a balloon and start the music.
As they dance, they must keep their balloon in the air without holding onto it.
The goal is to keep the balloon from touching the ground until the music stops.
If their balloon falls, they do a fun “dance challenge” (like a twirl, a jump, or a funky move) before rejoining the game.
Dance is a creative expression, so why not combine it with art? This activity turns dancing into a masterpiece and lets girls express themselves through movement and color.
What You Need:

How to Play:
Pour different colors of paint into plates.
Have each child dip their feet into a color of their choice.

How to Play:
Have all the girls spread out on the dance floor.
Select one girl to control the music and another to hold the spotlight.
When the music starts, everyone dances freely.
The girl with the spotlight shines on different dancers while the music plays.
When the music stops, whoever the spotlight is on must freeze.
Continue playing until only one dancer remains!

How to Play:
Choose a few dance styles from different cultures (such as salsa from Latin America, Irish step dancing, Bollywood from India, or hula from Hawaii).
