Household Elf Activity Booklet

This activity booklet is designed to fulfill the requirements for the Brownie Household Elf badge or can be used by other youth group leaders to earn similar badges. It's also great for teachers and homeschooled kids!

No matter how young or old you are, learning about helping our planet is fun! With games and activities, you can learn how to be a Household Elf and make a difference. With easy-to-follow steps, you can't ask for an easier way to run your meeting.

Activities include:

• Energy Detectives: Draft Stoppers and Power Runs: Girls will create a cozy draft stopper to keep homes warm and play an active game to learn which items use electricity, becoming energy-saving experts.
• Water Wise Bingo: Saving H2O: Girls will play a fun bingo game filled with water conservation facts and actions, learning how to protect our precious water.
• Nature's Remedy Race: Natural Solutions: Girls will race to match ailment cards with natural remedies, discovering the power of nature to heal and help.
• Recycling Roundup: Sorting for Success: Girls will work together to sort recycling cards into the correct bins (paper, plastic, glass, metal), becoming recycling champions.
• Scent Detectives & Fresh Air: Good Smells, Good Home: Girls will explore the world of scents, identifying good and bad smells, then create their own natural air fresheners to keep their homes smelling fresh.
