      This activity booklet was designed to fulfill the requirements for the Cadette Programming Robots badge or can be used by frontier girl leaders to earn similar badges. Great for teachers and home schooled kids as well.

      This booklet will have activities that will keep the girls playing and learning. These activities include learning about artificial intelligence, programming a virtual robot, and converting numbers into binary!
       
      Activities Include:
      1. Learning robot history – Complete a timeline of robotics milestones and learn about artificial intelligence, the newest frontier.
      2. Completing circuits –  Learn about and use the different components of electrical circuits.
      3. Programming a virtual robot  – Use simplified JavaScript to code a robot that responds to a user’s touch.
      4. Using binary – Convert numbers to and from decimal and binary.
      5. Programming a virtual smart room– Animate a room that responds to user commands.

      IMPORTANT: You will need the internet and computer for some of the activities in this booklet.
