This lesson is great for 1st graders up to 6th grade.
Being strong does not always mean someone is able to lift something heavy. Sometimes being strong is referring to our mental strength. Life is difficult and we are dealt the hand we are given and sometimes that may mean that in order to persevere, we have to be mentally strong and resilient in order to bounce back. This 8-page workbook gives an explanation of these terms, provides an illustrated example with discussion points, a hands-on activity, craft, and several images to print and place on a vision board or nearby to be reminded of what was learned from this lesson. Resilience and mental strength is sometimes the only thing we have to hold on to when we are in a low place. Understanding what it is and how to tap into it is an important life skill to know and practice.
