Time to read 3 min

Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to bring extra love and joy to your Girl Scout troop meetings! Whether planning a small celebration or a full-blown Valentine’s Day party, incorporating fun games, activities, and crafts can make the day extra special for your girls.

In this post, I’m excited to share some of the cutest Valentine’s Day ideas that I have done with my troop. Plus, I’ve gathered even more fun ideas from around the web that your girls will love!

Valentine's Day Game Activity Booklet

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to add Valentine themed fun to your troop meeting, this Valentine’s Day Activity Booklet is just what you need! It includes three exciting games that are perfect for celebrating the holiday.

I Have… Who Has…Valentine’s Day Card Game

This simple yet entertaining game is great for a Valentine’s Day gathering. Each girl receives a card with a question and an answer. The challenge is to match up the answers on their cards with the corresponding questions on other girls’ cards. It’s a fun way to encourage teamwork and engagement while celebrating Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day Party Activity Booklet

This activity booklet includes 14 games and activities to keep your girls entertained. Since Valentine’s Day falls on February 14th, this booklet is designed to align with the theme while offering a variety of games that cater to different grade levels, making it an excellent choice for multi-level troops!

Word Search Puzzles – Valentine Theme

Download and print this Valentine’s Day word search game for your troop! It’s a fun and easy activity that will keep the girls engaged. You can even turn it into a friendly competition to see who can find all the words first!

Valentine Escape Room

If you’re looking for something unique and engaging, this Valentine’s Day escape room is a fantastic choice! It works for both virtual and in-person meetings and is designed for K – 5th grade girls. The game takes about 25 minutes and challenges your girls to work together to solve clues and “escape.”

Dice Rolling Game

This simple and interactive game requires just a set of dice, some markers to cover spaces and a free printable game board. Each girl takes turns rolling the dice and covering the hearts. The first person to fill their board wins!

Valentine Left/Right Game

This classic passing game is a great way to get everyone involved! Before playing, wrap some small prizes (candy bars, stickers, or fun trinkets work great). The girls sit in a circle and pass the prizes left or right based on the words in the story you read aloud. The girls holding the prizes at the end get to keep them!

Valentine’s Day Bean Bag Toss Game

This game is perfect for younger girls! Set up a bean bag toss and challenge the girls to see who can score the most points. You can also turn it into a team challenge or add fun variations like throwing with their non-dominant hand .

Teddy Bear Craft

For a sweet and simple Valentine’s craft, have the girls make their own tissue paper teddy bears . You’ll need:

  • Heavy cardstock (cut into teddy bear shapes)

  • Red paper hearts

  • Tissue paper (brown & pink)

  • Glue

Girls can crumple the tissue paper and glue it onto the bear, giving it a fun, textured 3D look. This craft is a hit for all ages and makes an adorable keepsake!
