If your looking for ideas to make your meeting more fun while teaching your girls how to be honest and fair, you have come to the right place. Using some of these activities below to help your girls understand that you need to be honest by telling the truth even if it might get you in trouble because a lie just will get you in more trouble. And to always ask yourself how you would feel if it wasn’t fair for you, so try to make it fair for everyone.
I recommend the following activities that will reinforce being honest and fair:
Below are a few ideas to get you started.
Use the Honest and Fair Petal Activity booklet and take your girls on a garden adventure, helping a family of fairies on a mission to teach the world how to live by very important values. Using the leader booklet and the girl’s activity booklet your girls will complete lots of activities to help their fairy friends plant flowers, water gardens, and learn how to put important values to live by into action. With step-by-step activities planned for you, all you have to do is gather the supplies listed; you can’t ask for an easier way to run your meeting.
What you need: Get a bag of Dove candy(or any other candy for that matter) and gather clear cups for each girl.
How to do activity: You will give each girl a clear cup and write their name on the outside. Then without explaining anything start handing out candy, and counting out loud as you do. The first girl give her 5 pieces, the second girl only give her 4, maybe third girl gets only 2. As most kids do the girls will start to complain and probably tell you “This isn’t fair” or “Why did she get 5 and I only got 2?” After you have handed out candy to every girl it is time to ask the girl how we can make this more fair? How do we make it so each girl gets the same amount of candy and divided more fairly? This is where you give the girls time to figure out how to equally divide the candy. This will teach your girls the importance of sharing and being fair to everyone.
I found this on Amazon a while back and let me tell you its a great way to get your girls talking.
It has amazing scenarios to work through, plus there are many cards that will fit into any value you want to teach your girls. So make sure to pick out the ones you want for the specific value you are working on.
Girls can turn learning into a game and the girls will want to play it. You can play it like a card game using the 10 traits: Caring, Citizenship, Cooperation, Fairness, Forgiveness, Honesty, Relationships, Respect, Responsibility, and Safety.
One of my all time favorite sites to visit is called Using Resources Wisely. She is another amazing resource for you all to be sure to follow. She shared 10 great ideas to help you earn the Honest and Fair award.
I may like candy a little to much. You can always pick to do this with color beads if you don’t want your girls to have to much candy. Put the M&Ms in a bowl and have girls pick one out without looking. Whatever color they pick have them tell group the corresponding topic. Of course then they can eat the candy.

You are going to love this cute adorable fun patch to put on the back of your girl’s vest. This goes with the Petal Fairy Program mentioned at the beginning of this post. You can buy each petal patch individually or as a complete set.
Well of course give them the badge to display proudly on their vest, they earned it! Additionally If you are like many leaders we want to award our girls when they complete something even beyond just the patch. One great way to show achievement is with a certificate. Don’t worry you don’t have to make them, I found a resource that has done all the work for you and all you have to do is print them and customize the certificates with each girl’s name, badge or award earned, date, and troop leader.
Editable certificates perfect for awarding girls after earning a badge.
This activity program was designed to fulfill the requirements for all 10 Daisy Petals and Promise Center or can be used by frontier girl leaders to earn similar badges.
The petal fairy program will take your girls on a garden adventure with their new petal fairy friends who need your girls help to plant their flowers, water their gardens, and in return the petal fairies will help your girls learn how to live by the 10 fairy laws one activity at a time.
Enjoy every minute being a leader and continue to inspire your girls!
