Asking Your Girls What Should You Say

Using the statements below as your girls to tell you what the best response would be. I put the response that would fit the question there could be more than one right answer

What should you say if you run in front of someone? I AM SORRY
When you let someone use something that you are using its called? SHARING
When you ask for something you say? PLEASE
When you receive a gift from someone you say? THANK YOU
If you make someone else sad or upset you say? I AM SORRY
If someone is having a bad day you ask? ARE YOU OK?
When you meet someone new you say? NICE TO MEET YOU
When your parents ask you to do something you show them? RESPECT

Roll Some Respect

You will need dice for this activity. Everyone takes a turn rolling the dice and based on what they roll have them answer the following statement.

1 – Showing respect is important because…
2 – I respect my parent(s) by…
3 – I respect my teacher(s) by…
4 – I show respect to my friend(s) by…
5 – I respect myself by…
6 – I respect the world by…

From a Mom on Pinterest: We worked on self-respect since respecting others is taught in school. I recruited some Junior scouts to run little stations and split my troop into small groups. At each station the groups talked about one of the points on this map. The Daisies earned a sticker at each station. When they got all their stickers they earned the petal. I had the Junior scouts create and run their own mini-lessons for each point.

Girls can turn learning into a game and the girls will want to play it. You can play it like a card game using the 10 traits: Caring, Citizenship, Cooperation, Fairness, Forgiveness, Honesty, Relationships, Respect, Responsibility, and Safety.

What do we do after your girls complete the activities?
