If your looking for ideas to make your meeting more fun while teaching your girls how to respect myself and others you have come to the right place. Using some of these activities below to help your girls understand how to respect themselves by never doing things they know that is not right, even if someone wants them to, and treat everyone the way they want to be treated.

I recommend the following activities that will reinforce respecting myself and others:

• Practice with activities
• Be creative with a craft
• Get moving with a game
• Put into action with a service project or real life experience.
• Optionally: If I have a song that related, sing that as well.

Below are a few ideas to get you started.

Using the statements below as your girls to tell you what the best response would be. I put the response that would fit the question there could be more than one right answer

1. What should you say if you run in front of someone? I AM SORRY
2. When you let someone use something that you are using its called? SHARING
3. When you ask for something you say? PLEASE
4. When you receive a gift from someone you say? THANK YOU
5. If you make someone else sad or upset you say? I AM SORRY
6. If someone is having a bad day you ask? ARE YOU OK?
7. When you meet someone new you say? NICE TO MEET YOU
8. When your parents ask you to do something you show them? RESPECT

Roll Some Respect

You will need dice for this activity. Everyone takes a turn rolling the dice and based on what they roll have them answer the following statement.

1 – Showing respect is important because…
2 – I respect my parent(s) by…
3 – I respect my teacher(s) by…
4 – I show respect to my friend(s) by…
5 – I respect myself by…
6 – I respect the world by…
