Halloween Craft, Game and Fun Patch Ideas for Your Troop

Below you will find games, crafts and fun patch ideas you can add to your troops fall or Halloween event this year.

Halloween Games

Balloon Body

What you need: 3xl or 4xl sweat pants and t-shirts, a lot of balloons blown up.

How to play: Do it 3 or 4 girls at a time. Have them each put on the large pants and large top. Throw out the balloons around the room. Set a time for 1 or 2 minutes depending on age, then the girls must fill the outfit with as many balloons as they can. The girl with the most balloons in their clothes is the winner. Of course make sure to take a picture. We did a game of elimination after everyone had a turn then we had the winners of each round go against each other until we were down to 1 girl.

Candy Pick Up

What you need: Painters tape, lots of Halloween candy, rope, spoon.

How to play: First using painters tape make a square on the ground. You will need a square for the number of teams you have. Then break teams up into 3 or 4 girls. Next take candy and throw all around room (not in squares). Then have girls all stand in the square for team. Explain to girls they get to collect and share as much candy as they can get as a team without anyone feet leaving the square. As you can see below the girls got resourceful using bodies to grab as much candy as they can. We let them try without any supplies see what they could get. Then we gave each team a rope and spoon and girls created fishing poles to pull in the candy. If you are working on knots its a great way to tie it into this activity as well.

Halloween Games Activity Booklet

First play the 4 corner game which will have your girls running from one corner to the next, while laughing and getting to know each other. Then compete against one another to match 4 fall cards and be the fastest to win. Lastly play a game of fall bingo with 24 different images/words related to Halloween.
