I am super excited to share with you all an amazing Gold Award Project completed by an Ambassador Girl Scout by the name of Madison File. I asked her to share what she did for her project and how you can use her project with your troop, family or friends.
Madison said “My name is Madison File and I am an ambassador Girl Scout. My mom started a troop for me when I was in Kindergarten and I have been in Girl Scouting ever since! Girl Scouts has allowed my leadership abilities to grow and gave me a great group of girls that are like my sisters.
I always knew that I wanted to be able to receive the honor of being a Gold Award Girl Scout. However, I had a hard time of coming up with a project idea that would make a large impact. As with 2020 anything is possible, and the Corona Virus pandemic actually inspired me to develop an app for my project.
My app, READY-SET-STAY, is an interactive app which provides fun and engaging activities for kids during the Corona Virus pandemic and beyond.
There are multiple sections within the app including:
- Recipes
- Science experiments
- Grandparent ideas
- Scavenger hunts
- Games and Craft
- So much more!
It is truly a “one stop shop” to entertain your kids! The best part about these activities is that they can be done at home where we are all spending a lot of time at these days! Thank you so much and hope the app serves useful to you!

How do I get the Ready-Set-Stay app?
Please check out the app and download it onto your phone. It is a perfect option if you are a parent, Sunday school teacher, school teacher, Girl Scout Leader, grandparent, or anybody that would enjoy this app.
Madison created an English and Spanish version of the app to allow for more accessibility and to reach a wider group of people!
Please note: It is not associated with the app store, so to download the app you will need to copy the link and paste it into google. It should bring up READY-SET-STAY on your phone screen and will walk you through a few simple steps to download the app onto your home screen. This video is only 40 secs and helps to explain the downloading process as well!
